Im loving the whole front head and arm position. Lots of guillotines, darces and such. What else have we got? Maybe right off the takedown. |

I guess the twister is technically a wrestling position. |

I liked to hit a kimura off the standup to break hand control. I would also do an americana with my arm underneath my opponents head as I was pinning him and had mount. |

I'm new to wrestling, but when we are doing Par Terre a lot of the arm grips used to turn people feel like they could easily slip into a keylock or kimura without much difficulty. |

^ This is true. Folkstylers would transition into Submission Wrestling very easy. Much easier than freestyle/greco guys. The rides in folkstyle are top notch, IMO. |

Saw this clip on leg turks the other day that's basically good coaching in how to secure everything from a head/arm strangle, neck crank, spine lock, and toe hold the coach mentions is generally frowned upon, which is exactly the hold I remember Josh Barnett submitting a guy with in a grappling tournament. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFRN_yn1Vhw I'll try to find the Barnett clip for reference. |
