So I have just finished reading Brian Keen's "The Rising", "City of the Dead" and "Dead Sea". To be honest, I didn't really like them. I have also read World War Z and the Zombie Survival Handbook, which were okay. I have also read Dy by Day Armageddon 1 & 2 by JL Bourne. I liked those pretty good. Anyone have any other Zombie books, closer to the classic Romero types... slow and stupid but big in numbers? No infected birds dive bombing from the skies... |

The "Monster" series (Island, Nation, Planet) is mostly about slow moving classic zombies, but it also throws in "Lichs", which are intelligent and paranormally powered up. Like crossing a zombie story with Super (Anti)Heros. Entertaining at least. I liked it better than Rising and City Of The Dead, but not as much as WWZ. |

Plague of the Dead series by Z.A. Recht for the fucking total domination. Walking Dead series is highly recommended. |

If you like Star Wars, Death Troopers and Red Harvest are pretty cool. |

Reading a short story collection "Zombies: The Recent Dead". Almost done and I've only like 1 or 2 of the stories so far. Oddly enough, they aren't all zombie stories... some are ghostish. |
