Went and photographed my first MMA event, photos are a little off but it was a learning experience, and I had a great time. Next I am shooting Rogue Fights in Redding, Ca 7/16/11

Good start, it's hard with the smaller shows and the lighting, looking forward to seeing your next set. |

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely not used to shooting in light like that. I knew I would have to adjust but didn't realize just how much. I also forgot my spare battery at home so I was a little hesitant to shoot that many frames and risk running out of juice so I missed a few shots. Having to work the zoom and the focus at the same time was also more difficult than I thought it would be. Hoping I am more prepared for this saturday, but we'll see. |

Remember to post when you get a chance!! And I've hit a convience store during intermission because I forgot batteries at home (AA for battery grip) or forgot to charge the AA's in the speedlight! |
