of Haynesworth & Ochocinco. That fat lazy slob Hayneworth couldn't even practice today because he is out of shape. He is a cancer and will do more harm than good on this team. Ochocinco is decent but doesn't scare me at all. I don't get all the hype these two pickups have gotten |

Gunnz, let us just hope that he actually gets motivated while in NE as otherwise he WILL be shipped out. |

Not even the Pats can whip Haynesworth into shape. Also his biggests complaint at the Skins was he didnt want to pay NT in a 3-4 base scheme. The Patriots run alot of 3 man lines, hell they will run 2 and 1 man lines. What is going to change for Fat Albert there? Have to totally agree with you Tommy. They are hype signings, not substantive ones. |

Over hyped imo but coming back to Haynesworth isn't Wilfork their NT? but in any case I still think thats the role he will be used in for NE. |

NE gets the best out of castaway players for at least 2 years. NE will be playing more of a 4 month front from what I heard on NFL. Chad will be beast under Brady. Bellichek is just an evil genius. |

Considering that the Pats only gave away a 3rd and a 5th for Ocho/Haynes and that the Pats have picks a plenty, I think the moves were low-risk high reward deals. |

They also landed Shaun Ellis, the former NY Jet. The NE defensive line will be a beast. Count on it. |

as a Jets fan I can tell you the only good thing Ellis will bring to the team is lockerroom leadership he doesnt have it on the field anymore. Not a big loss at all (playing wise)

Ellis was an important piece of the Jets’ defense last year. Here are his thoughts on Ellis (and other newly acquired defensive linemen): http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/bill_belichicks_thoughts_on_newly_acquired_defensive_linemen/6019954 Sorry Tommy, but I will take Belichick’s opinion on defense over yours any day. |

As it stands now, The Patriots have Ellis, Albert Haynesworth, Vince Wilfork and Andre Carter in their newly revamped 4-3 scheme. That reads like the ‘who’s-who’ of defensive linemen! And you are not impressed??????? Expect NE’s defensive line to be a BEAST!!!! (I think you are scared of how good this group has the potential to be given that they play in the same division as your precious Jets) |

SiftMyMind -I guarantee you the only reason Belicheck picked uo Ellis was to learn about the inner workings of the Jets defense, not for his actual gameplayTommy Gunnz - as a Jets fan I can tell you the only good thing Ellis will bring to the team is lockerroom leadership he doesnt have it on the field anymore. At the half way point of the season Tommy gunz looks like he was on the money with his prediction. Neither one of these guys have done much thus far. At least the Pats run def has been solid, but they have the worst pass def in the league. We showed teams the blueprint of how to beat their def last week. |

Haynesworth is officially gone as of today. After how he played on Sunday OchoCinco can't be far behind. |

So far, Tommy Gunnz has been totally right and I have been 100% wrong. (especially after the cutting of Haynesworth) |
