actually because the rules in place by the governing body say it's not cheating, it's not cheating. just because bisping is butthurt that Dan gave him an epic hat doesn't mean he has to start throwing baseless accusations around.

bisping is wrong in every sense of the word. sorry.

Indeed, men can suffer from low testosterone for multiple reasons, but a life long wrestler and Olympic athlete?? C'mon now.

Dan fought in Brazil and Japan when the sport was unregulated. Not to mention both countries having reputations for common steriod abuse in mma.

Low testosterone is a by-product of steriod abuse, is it not?

All the circumstantial evidence leads to a reasonable assumption that hendo is juicing. But neither I, you or anybody else on this forum knows for sure.

By the way, the ref DID call this an illegal shot.
If rivera would have chosen not to continue, Bisping would have been disqualified.

Bro, how about when Hendo landed a vicious shot to a clearly unconscious Bisping? Technically it's legal but that not only is disgraceful but it actually poses a threat to the damage of his health.

So stop trying to act like Hendo is an angel and Bisping is the villain. A knee to the forehead is not worse punching someone whilst they're not conscious, Hendo even joked about doing it afterwards, he's a disgrace.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a medical condition that needs attention. Which is why Hendo has never done anything wrong - all of his medical issues on the subject have been conducted and supervised by medical professionals.

EBM - If an athlete is medically cleared to utilize TRT, then it is well in the persons means to use it in a controlled and professional environment. Sounds to me Bisping is making a general statement, not necessarily directing his comment towards Henderson, imo. However, Henderson is the last person that should be talked about, seeing that he's been doing it for several years and has never run into any issues with an MMA organization or an athletic commission. The reason why? Because TRT is conducted by medical professionals.

My message to Bisping and all the haters: Get a god damn clue.

This is not a situation where athletes are sticking needles into their butt cheeks in a gym locker room. Having TRT is a condition, much like diabetes. Both diseases entail utilizing certain medications in order to live a healthy and stable life.

Hmmm not exactly. If you had a TRT script dated from more than a few years back you would've passed under the radar and despite being in the spotlight now there's no way an existing TRT script can be revoked.

The reason why newer guys are getting caught is because now they are tightening up on giving the TRT script exemption.

I'm a huge Hendo fan BTW. Dislike Bisping but he makes a fair point.

VERY shortly, TRT will no longer be accepted I would imagine and then fighters will have to go back to juicing the old fashioned way and cycling so they don't get popped.

I agree with the guy who spits on his opponent's cornermen because their fighter was talking shit before a fight that TRT use isn't good for the sport. However, even with my limited medical knowledge, I know that low test isn't only caused by steroid usage as the guy who lost composure and spit on people for no reason seems to think. There are medical reasons for it and as long as someone shows up with normal levels on the tests then I'm fine with it, though better testing is never a bad thing.

You're not only missing the point, your statement above is absolutely false. If Hendo had been abusing this process, why would his results "passed under the radar"? Abusing the TRT process would have resulted in his testosterone levels to not only be irregular, but too high - each time he was tested.

The guy has gone several years without any issues. How many times in the last 5 years has their been a TRT and Hendo thread made on here? Maybe 1 or 2? But now that Sonnen and Marquardt were issued medical suspensions because of TRT, everyone wants to point the finger at Hendo because he's been doing it for years?

However, in the next year or so I think that we will see a huge emergence in guys testing with TRT using the "TRT Excuse". There is no doubt that commissions will need to put tighter restrictions on the use of TRT, specifically designed for athletes that actually have this medical condition. Especially for a guy like Hendo who has been doing it the right way, by the book, for several years now.

TRT allows you to "fail" a drug test (T:E ratio) since you can administer exogenous T.
While you still have to test 'normal' on T LEVELS for your drug test it means you can play the system if you want.

There is ZERO proof that Hendo has done that.
But the problems for Sonnen and Nate were ones relating to them actually having got clearance for theraputic use.

Chael didn't submit his TRT script to Kizer and Nate may or may not have had one (he never cleared it either).

BJ Penn and fair minded people who want a level playing field. Wrestlers already have the advantage so how can you stop a drugged up wrestler? Its going to be difficuilt.

The Uk has sub par wrestling. Should that be banned now so all fighters can be on a level playing field?

The entire POINT of TRT is so the fighter with lower test than normal can compete on a LEVEL playing field.

Now, if you are abusing it, and are way over LEGAL, accepted limits, than you can call it cheating. I have no problem with that.
