Just ordered a half ashtray bridge for it, so it will fit with the humbucker. I'm gonna try and do the string through. Thanks for the guidance on that guys. |

I'm waiting on the bridge, I will post pics as soon as I get it put on. I did not take any pics of it before, I got it at guitar center, went straight to music go round and bought the pups and push/pull pot, and they gave me the pic guard. I played it for about half and hour before I started modding it. It is a tobacco burst full thickness body, rosewood fingerboard on a one piece maple neck. It came with two humbuckers and a black/white/black pick guard. If you google '$119 squier tele' a thread from the squier talk forum will show up. Those guys posted a bunch of pics. The bridge should be in today or monday. I ordered it through ABQ guitar works. |

The bridge just came in today, I think All Parts was smelting the brass or some shit. I am going to drill the string-through holes by hand. |

Done, just need to string her up and plug her in. The holes are not straight, but not too bad. Racer X is gonna have a heart attack if he sees my hack job. Anyone know how I can post pics that are on my phone? (not that I wish ill toward Racer X) |

Good to see the follow-though on the project. Not the staightest ferrule holes I've ever seen, but I bet they get the job done. :) |

Thanks whaledog, they are far from straight, but as you said, they get the job done. |

A neat trick Ian from ABQ guitar works turned me on to is to drill the holes for the ferrules a bit too small, stick the ferrule on the end of a hot soldering iron, let it heat up, then just push it into the hole with the soldering iron and it will hold. |
