Www.tigerwarriormartialarts.com is one of the schools he trains at, but Charlie just turned 20. He wants a few more Ammy fights under his belt before he turns pro, but is looking for sponsors.

Thanks for embedding the last one, can someone do this different fight for me too? loved that everyone got to see that horrible reffing job in the first fight around 1:47 mark, guy has an arm-in guillotine late in the 3rd, our guy is on top, ref checks him, guy says "I'm fine", ref says "get out of there", and then says "that's it". what? |

Cire - Check Charlie's very good footwork and striking at the 11:13 minute mark. <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/> Some nice counter-striking in both videos, but that was only "very good footwork" if his intention is to get taken down repeatedly by anyone with wrestling ability. He is 20 and fighting as an ameteur, so I don't expect him to have a flawless game, but when you make a comment like that it should have some semblance of a substantiative claim. Just sayin'. |

That fight showed very little footwork. He trains with an olympic wrestler. When I get more videos I will show them. He is getting a nice buzz going around Texas and the mma community. Give him time to get more experience in bigger shows and you will see more of him soon. He is well known here for his technique at such a young age.

Some former Olympic wrestler in Houston, i forget his name...but cost for lessons from all the different styles in town are what kills his family's budget But he does also train with a brown under Machado some as well as several well trained pros from town. i just worked with him when he was younger. |
