that's pretty close to what I do. I like to throw in some veggies too for flavour and texture. As far as I'm concerned broth is pretty much necessary for Quinoa. |

I'm vegetarian so I replace the chicken broth with organic veggie broth :) i add a few more veggies such as tomatoes and let some soft tofu cook in there |

Mine is similar: Onion, garlic, Celery, Red Pepper (if you got it) Saute in a skillet. Toss in pot with Quinoa and whatever stock you like. Nice thing about Quinoa is that it's like a flavor sponge. I've used Cinnamon, Raisins, and Brown sugar for something sweeter (Think Breakfast). Honey and Agave are goo too. -Nic |

Super easy. I use dried beans, but you could use one or two cans of beans. Made this at work and the boys loved it. |

Quinoa goes with everything. YOur imagination is the only thing holding you back. Play with different combos til you get what you like. I lean towards the stuff that has vinegar and shit. |

I like to use it as a replacement for rice in a spicy shrimp and scallop paella |

I also use it as a base for my veggie burgers: 1 cup quinoa 1 medium mashed sweet potato 1-2 garlic egg as binder spices form into 4 patties, put in fridge for 20-30 minutes and grill, bake or sautee. |

I just made some tonight with onions, mushrooms, celery, steak spice and beef broth. Afterwards I mixed it with a can of lentils and Chickpeas.....power food. And it's great for evacuation...if you know what I mean. |

The only Quinoa recipie I've got is for a cauliflower salad, and involves cooking it in a pressure cooker. Quinoa 100% and Water 350% in a Pressure Cooker. 1 bar for 4 minutes Depressure quickly(running water), drain then spread on a baking sheet you had in the freezer (stops it cooking any more). Microplane grate some cauliflower florets 150% Mix everything with: diced & peeled green apple, Celery, balsamic vinegar
Bit different but I like it |
