Totally standard, get it in every time for 100BB barring some crazy read that this guy is unbelievably tight. If he has 55, so be it. Some chance of a chop too I guess, hopefully he defended the blind with Q5 or J5 suited, or went crazy with KQ. Since you posted this I assume he had 55 though. It happens, rebuy and keep movin on |

I guess KT or T9 would make just as much sense too if he is gambly. You just beat so many hands in his range and really lose only to 55 so I think it is a standard get it in. |

Well played. The only other option is to call his raise to $7.82 because you have position and can insure a bet goes in on the turn. This way you let him hang himself and don't blow him off a bluff. He bets turn, you go all-in. |

PR - Well played. The only other option is to call his raise to $7.82 because you have position and can insure a bet goes in on the turn. This way you let him hang himself and don't blow him off a bluff. This answer used to frustrate me when PR would give it...I would always ask about these hands because villain ultimately would have a set and Id want to know how I could avoid stacking off to it. And PR would ignore the possibility and try to convey the best possible line for getting all the money in. And Id feel frustrated. And he'd be right. :) As cadeswallows says, "if has 55 laugh and move on." |
