Hey guys i have a puppy coming in 3 weeks and she is a mix breed, the Dad is a pure bred Presa Canario and the mom is a Rottweiler Boxer mix, the dad is a little territorial but is over all well behaved i have spent a lot of time with him, the mom is a very good well behaved dog. My question is because there is already a dog in the house that is fearful of other dogs, she just leaves runs away, whats the best way to introduce the puppy to her? note both are females, thanks!

I have never had a fearful dog, but here is how I introduce a new pet into a already established pack.  I would put already established pet "A" in a seperate room.  Bring in pet "B" and place in a kennel.  Then allow pet A to come in and sniff and get used to new pet in it's territory.  You could try that.  If your fearful dog still won't have anything to do with the puppy, maybe reverse the rolls and confine the fearful one to the kennel so it can't escape and have the puppy come to check it out.  I am no expert, but that is what I usually do with my well adjusted dogs.
