 Exactly. Did people talk shit when Seagal was walking out with Silva? It's the same type of scenario.

Silva was using Seagal to get a better connection with the fans, Chael is just doing the same. He is in Chicago and using a Chicagoan who is pretty popular amongst the fans. If this fight were in Vegas or somewhere else I highly doubt he would be using CM Punk to walk out with. I really don't see this as a big deal at all.

All of which are controlled incidences where there is no blurring in terms of whether the person is an entertainer or an athlete/coach of the sport, they're zoomed in on like any celebrity, that's fine. Dana has stated in interviews before he does not want to do anything vaguely cross promotional or to blur the lines and decrease legitimacy. When you walk out with someone it implies you were involved in their training or are involved in their camp or are a manager or something,suggesting a pro wrestler has such involvement with Chael Sonnen blurs lines.
