if it's double wrapped-plastic wrap and butcher paper-6 months easy. if it's vacuum wrapped, maybe a year. depends on how often you open the freezer and how full you keep the freezer. fuller freezers are more efficient and absorb less heat when they are opened. the more moisture that gets to the meat, the less time you can store it. once it starts to show freezer burn you have to use it or it turns to shoe leather.
