Practical, low maintenance, devastatingly effective. This is a one horse race, and we all know it. |

NotTheNoobURLooking4 - Hair length was a problem for Kimo. ![]() This is a case where being on the contenders list is not beneficial. |

BuyTheTicketTakeTheRide - As acknowledged in the OP, Michael is the current Hair King of MMA. He is will be almost impossible to knock off, unless he suddenly goes bald between now and 2013. However, many contenders are popping up on this thread. Michael will need to stay consistent to fend off his competitiors. |

X_Rated - BuyTheTicketTakeThatRide is killing me here. Jhericurleem would have been a surefire contender. ![]() However, he has lopped off his beautiful curl in favour of a more subdued look.

![]() Dom Cruz has some potential to be atleast a mid-tier contender, although Urijah Fabers call out of his widows peak has knocked him down a peg or two. |

![]() Prime Diego rocking the AC Slater look. Full of promise, so long as he stays away from Alien Diego.

Cro Cop is a good, underrated choice.![]() This is one case where a slightly receding hairline may actually be beneficial. It helps him pull off that "eastern block military guy" look, all the while keeping him looking clean and fresh for all of his fighting needs. Much like Michael Bisping, Mirko's hair stays true in the heat of battle. A definite plus. |

![]() Jon Jones is a real life champion, but I can't endorse him fully to be a real Hair Contender. His fade cradles his cranium well, and gives him that "business casual" look, but with rampant rumours that he swagger jacked the style from Rashad, I am hesitant to give him his due. However, by years end, he could very well be a strong contender. There is plenty of 2012 left. |

Bisping, Erik Silva, and KJ Noons are the top 3 imo, but Bisping just has too much to offer, he's running through the competition. |

Does Faber's recent hair cut automatically disqualify him from contention? |

TheShogunEra - Hioki's hair is pretty slick ![]() Hatsu has a versatile cut. It can be dyed, styled, or left messy with equal success. He is sort of the Japanese Erick Silva, putting him squarely on doorstep of the leagues elite. |

EvanHayes - Bisping, Erik Silva, and KJ Noons are the top 3 imo, but Bisping just has too much to offer, he's running through the competition. This is true. However, I would also add Diego Nunes to the upper echelon currently. He has a very underrated garden going on upstairs, and he keeps it year round. |

OnlyTheStrongSurvive - Does Faber's recent hair cut automatically disqualify him from contention? Sadly for the depth of the All-Hair Tournament, we have to exclude Urijah. He was a former Champion, until Michael Bisping decided to let go of the shaved head and embrace his destiny. Urijah only needs time to gain back his contender status, but reaching the summit has become a much more arduous task than when he was ruling the roost. |

UGCTT_Gaspare - I think Noons has to be in running for nicest ![]() For pure style I would vote an emphatic no, but considering the intangibles that you have listed, it is only fair to give Mr. Brenneman his due. Intangibles are big here, it isn't just about pure aesthetics. |

I am ashamed to say I left out one of the pioneers of MMA hair, one man who is still going strong to this day.![]() Even today, in his more advanced age, his hair still looks like you could eat angel food cake off of it and pick the crumbs out without ruffling a lock.

I completely forgot about him Prime Andrei Arlovski had some of the best hair I've ever seen and even today cut it could be a contender IMO |
