NbleSavage, looks like we are the only 2 guys who even go on the Bookground! Couple of ideas for you: Lots of PKD books are head scratchers: Ubik, The Man in the High Castle, Valis, Counter Clock World, Time out of Joint Slaughterhouse 5 Gravity's Rainbow - not exactly mind bender, but will definitely alter your mind Also, check out Altered Carbon, not a mind bender as such, but some of the ideas in it (ie living forever) are kind f'ed up Raw Shark Texts is definitely wortha read. Rendezvous with Rama, trying to imagine the ship is mind boggling Snow Crash That's all off the top of my head. I'm a bit of a sci fi fan, so I mostly go down that road. |

Great adds, DBulletproof!! I loved Raw Shark Texts - actually preferred it over HoL. Will check out Snow Crash - nice suggestion! Read Gravity's Rainbow, mind-altering is a good description :) Altered Carbon sounds good also. Cheers! - Savage |

Oh yeah, another one: To Your Scattered Bodies Go What did you end up reading Savage? I'm currently reading The Wasp Factory, seems popular on the Bookground so I thought I'd check it out. |

Just finished Micro by Michael Crichton. It was started by him but finished by another author. A good read by the plot was pretty farfetched even by Chricton standards. |
