"Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition is going to have new content for the game you love," Beamdog chief and Baldur's Gate veteran Trent Oster tweeted following the announcement, "made by some of the original team members." And it'll STILL be better than 90% of the shit out there today. |

I question if they can give it the improvements the community has over the years. But if not, they can definitely give them some new toys and ideas to work with. I'm about due for a playthrough, was gonna do it on my tablet (just finished IWD, touch controls are amazing for these games) but might have to wait for this! BG1+2 completemod with resolution and whatever else you want to include is pretty amazing if this motivates anyone to play right now, i really doubt they can top it. |

I said fuck it - I re-installed the whole thing (including BG 1 inside the BG 2 engine), plus a fuckton of cut content and mods (mostly extra areas, NPCs, that kind of stuff). Having an absolute ball with it. I forgot how slow it started off (my guy is 7th level and still not kicking as much ass as I'd like), but soon my kensai/sorceror will be death incarnate :-) |
