jcblass - DAVID HARTSOOK-AMERICAN MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY But this is not the first time he's embellished. But more so than embellishing is that he is is evasive when it comes to answering questions about his lineage..Stuff has to be pried out of him very strategically to get him to answer questions. Here are some comments left about him, one from 2010 on Rate My BJJ Instructor - Dave Hartsook so you can see he has been running this game for awhile. Please nobody email or contact Master Dave yet as the OP on original thread FAKE BJJ GYMS!!!! is returning on Monday to try and get video. |

@Gojira Agreed. This guy has mulitiple posts across many sites (like Gracie and ratemybjjinstructor) claiming to be a BB. However, his own website does not mention it and use the BJJ verbiage sparingly. Feels like a TMA guy trying to expand into a "hot" new martial art. However, we CANNOT stand by and let TMA guys do these type of things. I have no problems with Ninjitsu/TKD/etc style guys claiming black belts all over the place but when they try to water down BJJ? Hell no. This guy is innocent until proven guilty but the evidence does not look good. |

@bigsky, Right on. We cannot let what happen to BJJ what happen to karate @Marcgeo13, it sure seems that way doesnt' it LOL. Poor Jax getting hammerd, but there really are some good schools here people. |

I will check this place out Monday and try to get some video. Sorry this posted two times. I will have video of the front of the place that says Bjj mma and so on. We will def try to get him saying this on video I just don't know if I should put the camera in his face or sneak it.?. |

@art I would try sneaky. I would guess this guy clams up if you bring the camera up and in his face. I know this makes me a bad person but I hope he tells you a bunch of BS about having a BB and who gave it to him. I need something to get me through the last few weeks of school. Class time is a great time to do research on fake BBs. |

Ok I'll keep with the noob act. Kenni said he would come and observe the class and take some video with the flip cam should be easy. 6 1/2 hours left. <br />I have rolled with some real bad ass BB and I have never ran through some one so quick and have them quit on me do to grapevines. SMH |

Just an idea. If you have an iPhone you can use the audio recorder and keep your phone hidden. You won't get video but you will still get some good audio. Good luck!

His terminology is correct for the most part but his tech is all wrong so I want peeps to see it is more than a fake BB but a compleat fraud. |
