They're under the impression that Phoenix is coming for Hope. So, if they take Hope into space the Phoenix should just go to where Hope is and avoid Earth all together. Or something. |

I definitely don't need a comic to show me a man arguing with his wife over his career/hobbies. I get that enough at home. I just wish I could fight some Hulks instead of all the things I do. |

Have to agree an entire issue devoted to Luke Cage and his whining spouse (who is she anyway?) was a bit lame. But that is the Marvel way with cross overs. The side books tend to be inconsequential. Which is better than DC, who puts vital details inside all of the side books making buying just the main crossover issues worthless. |

I actually enjoyed that conversation... *shrugs* Anyhoo, the problem with removing Hope is that there's an assumption that the Phoenix force is...well a force of nature and will destroy anything in it's path. So aside from the numerous violations of Hope's rights, removing her off planet and hoping the big, bad, Phoenix doesn't eat your planet isn't a very good strategy. Besides, there's ... what, a half dozen people on planet earth that have already channeled the Phoenix force: Emma, Quenton Quire, Rachel, the Stepford Cuckoos...who am I missing? |

Madeline Pryor unless you are simply counting her as Jean Grey, which she kind of was, or wasn't... claremont sucks. |

Zenoplata - For FUCKS sake! I was so pumped to see a new comic, and almost the entire thing was Luke Cage bitching and moaning with his wife. Lame ass issue, better up the action next week! Agreed. That was a fuckin terrible waste of an issue. |

Even though it was a shitty issue, thanks for posting it DA. I feel like we get caught up in the writing/art/story and forget to thank DA for giving us something to bitch about. |

I like Cage and Jessica, but to each their own... I also don't expect fireworks right away... give the story some time to unfold, jeez... |

SKARHEAD - I hate whenever I have to waste time reading about Luke Cage's annoying wife and baby.

I see a member of the Cage family, Hope or Scott as the prime candidates for death or at least severe injury in this crossover. Which will be followed by "What have we done? We are heroes and fight to make the world better, not this." |

shibbytastic -
SKARHEAD - I hate whenever I have to waste time reading about Luke Cage's annoying wife and baby.

I would actually like to see it end up with an uneasy truce. Some wins and some losses for each side, but NO forgetting the losses. I think it would make it more interesting going forward if some of the characters had to worry about someone from the other side taking a shot at them later for beating a teammate. |

Just finished issue #2. Pretty Epic. Cyclops is off his rocker. |
