Hey everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming MMA Charity event in Toronto, on Sunday June 3 2012 raising money for the Shawn Tompkins Memorial Fund and three other wonderful charities. On Sunday, June 3 2012 the Show Your Strength community organization will run it's very first "Fight For The Kids" fundraiser with a screening of the MMA documentary "Jens Pulver - Driven". The screening will take place at the Toronto Underground Cinema (186 Spadina Avenue, Toronto ON) and tickets are only $15.00. All net proceeds from this event will be donated to four wonderful causes:
We are very pleased to announce thanks to the team at Adrenaline Training Centre, that Mark Hominick, Sam Stout and Chris Horodecki will be in attendance for the screening. This should be a great event and raise a lot of money for some great causes. Any Underground members in Toronto, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! Hey everyone, Looks like this screening will actually be a free screening. Worked it out with a few local sponsors to cover the cost to make it free to the fans. We will be asking for donations at the door. All individuals who purchased tickets have been contacted and will have the option of a refund or to contribute the money towards the causes. All of the Tompkins fighters are excited and looking for a full house. Will post a new thread tomorrow with the updated details. All the best, Matt |
