guy from tv show 'Swamp People' is an mma fighter!

UGCTT_THE Kevin Chandler - I'm an avid Swamp People fan. When I first heard this on the show, I was kind of skeptical thinking that he was one of the new "trane UFC" type of people.....then I saw him hit pads. Jay Paul knows how to throw, that's for sure, haven't seen him grapple, but being a 2x golden gloves champ isn't a cereal box toy.

I'd be very curious to see his next fight.

Swamp people is a great show... I loved it when they confronted those clowns running lines right by there's and the old man talked shit to RJ ... J-Paul flipped out and said how bout I bust you in your mouth... Lmao... His dads a tough dude, but you could see the look in his eyes and hear it in his voice that he was seriously worried for the old scummy hunters... Said they were lucky JP didn't lose it and get on board!!

UGCTT_THE Kevin Chandler - Woah woah woah, if we're talking about favorites on the show, my vote HAS to go to Troy (and his son Jacob), no one loves huntin' gators more than those two and you can tell in the HORRIBLY fantastic songs they sing.

But if we're talking about non-main characters, my vote HAS to go to those two swamp brothers (I don't even remember what they're names are) who fish gars and drag logs out of the swamp. I would easily watch a show set entirely around them.

We mighta been separated at birth... Lmao.. I agree 100percent!!!

Voodoo - Bruce is the bad ass on that show. He hunts by himself!! Well, with just his dog.

Although I agree that Bruce hunti' solo is BA, I haven't seen ANYTHING on that show more BA than Willie (Junior's son) STABBING A GATOR IN THE SKULL WITH HIS POCKET KNIFE to kill it.....I still can't believe he did that. He just like walked up behind it all slow and just jammed his knife into his skull, instant kill.

Between that and his trebble hook, no can defend.

check out his fights online, i thought the same thing as you..then watched his fight and though holy shit, this kid is legit. then i found out he was a 2x golden gloves champ and it all made sense. can you imagine if the poachers they encountered this season had actually stood up to him and said yes lets fight?

holy cow, he would have made cajun stew of them. plus his pops is an arm wrestling champion. I wonder if his dad ever roided? no dissrespect to him at all, but his arms are huge and he was an arm wrestling champion. im curious if it's natural strength or roids. love the show though

Jay Paul is a competitor like his dad, but boxing and mixed martial arts are his sports. He won the Gulf Coast Boxing Championship in 2008, the Louisiana Golden Gloves Division Championship in 2009, and the Arnold Sports Festival Boxing event in 2010–all in his 152 lb weight class.

And, all these achievements come from a guy who got a serious head injury in a water skiing accident when he was 10 years old, and who was not supposed to ever be able to walk without a limp or talk without a slur. I guess the doctors didn’t know they were dealing with a Molinere.
