bbyslvrbk - Thank you Angelo for mentioning Natas! Not to forget, Matt Hensley, Ron Allen, Danny Way, Christian, Cabalerro, Bill Danforth, S Alba, M Alba, Chris Miller &a host of other names i have forgot Phone Post
Guys like Hosoi, Caballero, and Natas were not only technical but they made it "look good". Guys were smooth as hell. I think Natas and Frankie Hill did more for street skating than anyone else.

I have a Natas deck (complete) from 101 that was my last board. It's in decent shape and it's a life goal of mine to get Natas to sign it. Phone Post

Was that the satan board? I had that one.

Cajun Pest -  I have spent hours watching stuff on YouTube from the late 80's and early nineties, Rodney Mullins was light years ahead if his time with flip tricks Phone Post

This, there have been others who might be better now, but at the time NOBODY was doing the shit that Mullins was. At a time went vert was king and the sport was dying a slow death, he fucking reinvented the sport with the shit he was doing and not only kept it alive, but made it have a major resurgence in popularity. I'm not talking about mainstream, televised ESPEN xgames popularity either, but rather the number of kids who picked up a fucking board and started skating, because EVERYONE had access to a street, parking lot, stairs, handrails, whatever...

Rodney is the GOAT.

MullINS? Come on guys... you actually expect anyone to believe you've ever stepped foot on a skateboard, after that faux-pas?

I skated a bunch of HStreet Hensley, the ones with the big nose and steet sign graphic, some World Industries Rocco's, and some Ben Schroeder. I usually didn't like to buy the same board twice in a row, but sometimes I did. I always wanted something new.

This. I skated from around 98 to 03 and Mullins was good for what he was but that's it. Flatland was only exciting to watch for so long. Impossible to suicide to double flip out got tired after the twelfth time. Gimme a BS lip slide down a 15 stair handrail and we will talk.

When I watched it was all about Geoff, Arto (pre accident), Brandon Turner, Muska, Koston, PJ Ladd, p rod, etc Phone Post

Mullen is still the greatest single skateboarder that ever lived. Arguably Tony Hawk for 2nd place.

At his peak there is no way he was underrated. Unfortunatly his peak was at a real low point in skateboardings popularity. (93-99). He is revered by skateboarders who new.
