![]() This is a thread for not only talking about sharing your opinion of the lastest book you are reading but also the chance to share the book with the OG (via Dropbox or something similar). First up for me it the novella THE BODY, a short story from Stephen King. I had just watched the film STAND BY ME and there was a thread here about the film and it made me want to read the story - which I did and loved it. The film is close to the story but leaves some bits out from the conclusion. he Body is a novella by Stephen King, originally published in King's 1982 collection Different Seasons and in 1986 adapted into the acclaimed film Stand by Me. Some changes were made to the plot of the film, including changing the setting date from 1960 to 1959 and the location of Castle Rock from the state of Maine to Oregon. The story was part of a collection called 'Different Seasons' which included the other stories Apt Pupi, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption and The Breathing Method.. DOWNLOAD THE STORY IN KINDLE MODE HERE Try keep this book swopping thread up... |

Just read the steve jobs book. Was awesome, really really good. Dont like jobs or even apple, but he was a fascinating brilliant asshole of a person. One of best biograp that i have ever read. Reading steve kings jfk book, love it so far. Seems like king has made a bit of a resurgance. Liked the dome book from a few yr ago.
