I was told today that knee on belly is a show off move, and is considered being disrespectful. I had never heard this before. Well is it?

Most of the time Id say no but it can occassionally be used to put someone in their place if they piss you off.

I had a black belt get pissed at me for going knee on belly on him a few months back. I think the guy was a little off though. Same night he tried to fight a white belt that dove for a heelhook on him. |

I only stay in knee on belly when I'm dealing with spazzes so I assume if someone were to hold me in kob they aren't showing off. They're just angry at me.
