I think the Eastern Orthodox Churches have some texts which would be of benefit to those in the West, primarily the Philokalia and The Way of A Pilgrim. For Christianity in the West I would include Interior Castle by St Teresa of Avila and The Cloud of Unknowing, which is an anonymous text. |

I just caught it now; haven't been paying enough attention to the HolyGround, obviously. It looks to be like Cliff's Notes to the Rahner book. (I'll have to look at it more carefully -- I haven't read through the paraphrase, but I'm glad to know it's there). Good post! |

sparkuri - Although that's ^^^ a devotional. I am really getting into Utmost for His Highest. I didn't connect with it at first but it and I are getting aligned. It is a classic devotional so I say yes it's good on this list. |
