Fight is taking place at the SECC in Glasgow. It should be a great fight with a great atmosphere. Mitchell should be bringing a few thousand fans up from London. Scott Harrison is making the second fight of his comeback on the undercard and has been promised by Frank Warren that if he impresses in this fight and next he will get a shot at the winner. The fight is being shown on Boxnation. |

Great fight. Burns is the rightful favourite, but Mitchell is more talented imo and can definitely win this if he is right. |

It's a 50/50 fight. Burns wont try to walk Mitchell down as Murray tried to do. A Burns who wants to box and fight a smart fight will be a tough guy to beat but Mitchell is equally dangerous as a boxer or a puncher. |

Tonight I am feeling vaguely patriotic and Burns is a nice guy so I am rooting for him. |

Scott Harrison up next. Bradley Saunders has looked the best out of the undercard fighters so far. |

boxnation.com. This is where I am watching it. You have to pay to watch though. £20 I think or you can join for £10 per month. |

Burns wins by stoppage in the 4th. Didn't see that one coming. Huge fucking win for him there. |

Burns wins by KO in 4th round. Knocks Mitchell down, who has never been down before, twice before stopping him. He'd take out Scott Harrison even quicker. Burns gets better with every fight. I'd like to see him move up a division and take on Khan. On that performance he'd do very well. |

How did harrison win? Burns would wreck him from what i saw tonight. Big miss match now. Harrison in his prime however would of been a fun fight.

Rumour is burns will move up to light welterweight and so he should. Bigger fights await him there and I think he would hold his own on this form. I'm a massive Harrison fan from back in the day but was disappointed with him tonight against a guy he should have taken care of more easily. Hopefully he takes a couple of gradual steps before thinking of world title ambitions. John Simpson also looked impressive tonight. Been hard done by in some recent fights and is due some luck. Hope he gets a decent run before he retires.

Harrison got some rounds in against a journeyman 8-1 schoolteacher. He would match up against John Murray or Kevin Mitchell but should not be let inside a ring with Ricky Burns. |

I think Murray would be a tough fight at this point for Harrison.

I agree. I don't think he wins but he it would make a very good fight. He was supposed to matched up with Murray tonight btw. |
