I documented the saga with pics & video here: mma.us/james-funaro-knocks-out-prison-fighter-christian-darrow/ Since this went down Christian planned a fight with a kickboxing champ which didn't pan out and soon after he was not heard from by anyone in the MMA community. There were unsubstantiated rumors of him living in a homeless shelter upstate but nobody has come forward with any solid info for quite some time now. |

yeah, that's what I remember as well, but I'm sure he's up to something. He was so great at talking people into stuff. Would be fun to track him down and see if he's working as a faith healer in Arizona |

LoL at the bjj nerds claiming Funaro's "victory". It is well known he had a horrendous weight cut, he went from 230 lbs of Hardcore Prison Beast to 150 lbs of Swick. He was not in any shape to fight. If Funaro had any class he would have called it off and given Darro an out. He beat a weight-drained-out-of-prime-cracked-out Darrow. The real Darrow had work for James. .. .. And LoL at showing up with a "striking coach" to a glorified street fight. He had a full corner with him, Winkeljohn AND Greg Jackson. This brand of thuggery from a prisoner who was released from New York's medium security "camp" and a guy who was so thirsty to get a quasi fight that he fought the corpse of Christian Darrow. |

he is scamming the system still - car accident left him in hospital for a couple of months - since he was homeless he stayed as long as he could now he collects checks and sues innocent people - one thing never changes he gets people to belive his bullshit - nice to know our tax dollars are supporting him - |

I looked some stuff up recently and saw that he was part owner of a tanning salon that went under. Also saw his name connected to some shitty abandoned house, but not sure if that was old or not.
