Glad to have a good response here on the UG. I owe the UnderGround Forum for so much of what my career has become, as I was able to find information about fights outside of my immediate area. I then logged onto the UG regularly, and had good success in applying for more and more interstate and int'l competitions. That said, I'm happy that a few pro's and up-and-comers have shown interest here. To answer a few questions. THE TRYOUT WILL BE IN PHUKET, THAILAND. AN ATHLETE WILL NOT RECEIVE AN INVITE UNLESS THE STAFF FEELS HE/SHE IS A STRONG CANDIDATE. THIS IS AN MMA ATHLETE TRYOUT. MUAY THAI FIGHTERS ARE ABLE TO FIGHT OFTEN IN THAILAND, AND TIGER HAS A NUMBER OF ATHLETES THAT MEET THEIR LIVING COSTS IN PHUKET WITHOUT A SCHOLARSHIP... THIS MAY MEAN GOING HOME FOR A FEW MONTHS NEAR CHRISTMAS AND TAKING ON A SEASONAL JOB AND SPENDING TIEM WITH FAMILY/FRIENDS (TERRIBLE, RIGHT?). You have ignored this user.

caseharts - If interested, send in that application. If you're willing to come out to the tryout, assuming an invite, all you can do is impress with your skills and will. I'm confident that we can mold a good sportsman (wrestler, boxer, judo, bjj, etc.) into a competent MMA'er, and that we'll all have fun along the way. We seek good people to invest in. We'd like to have some exciting times, with competition. But in the end, the time on the mat is of the essence - and I want good people on the mat. You have ignored this user.
