Kizer: It was here, twice for the same drug, marijuana. But Nick did some things that came out in the hearing. Before the hearing, he came out and said 'yeah, well I smoked seven days before.' Wait a minute, are you saying that you lied on our pre-fight questionnaire? We asked him if he took anything in the last fifteen days. He basically admitted that he did, so we added perjury and that was part of the findings against him. So it wasn't only for testing positive for the marijuana, it was also lying about it on the form. http://www.boxingscene.com/nsacs-kizer-on-possible-penalties-chavez-jr--57557 |

But lets speak about the elephant in the room. Worst case scenario is that it's found out Nick Diaz actually smoked just before the fight and was high off weed, that totally gives him one of the most biggest advantages one could have in one on one sports more than any other type of advantage I could think of. I mean, that ganja is Ridiculous. |

If he drank that much water, I would be amazed. That is beyond ridiculous!! I'm no Diaz fan, my post history tells that story - but I'm extremely skeptical whether it's even possible to drink two dozen bottles of water without becoming very ill.

nice of kizer to come out and state that the nsac arbitrarily makes decisions.. rather than following the letter of law of their own rules and policies. =O |

And yes, the human body literally can't consume 3 gallons of water without severe water intoxication.

superCalo - Don't know why after a second offense he isn't given a life ban, is this a professional support or not ? If this was a Olympic sport like some folk want it to be he would never fight s professional fight again, he's very lucky the athletic commissions are so weak and pander to promoters haha.. you are spot on about the ac's pandering to the promoters.. especially boxing promoters. |

His logic is off. I fought a 3 round fight and had to pee for the state after... I drank probably 10-15 bottles before I could force out a little drop for them. After a 5 round fight I would think Diaz war dehydrated and couldn't pee until after he had sufficient water.

im on Nick Diaz side, BUUUUUUUUUUUTT... how fucking hard is to stay without smoking weed for 15 days? I mean... im asking experts on the field, because i dont smoke weed, but i figure it shouldn't be such an issue to stay clear from it for 15 days only. |

pidgey - im on Nick Diaz side, BUUUUUUUUUUUTT... how fucking hard is to stay without smoking weed for 15 days? it's out of your system in 15 days only if you smoke it once if you smoke on regular basis it's gonna be at least a month before you can pass a drug test |

pidgey - im on Nick Diaz side, BUUUUUUUUUUUTT... how fucking hard is to stay without smoking weed for 15 days?I honestly think I should stay out of fighting. You look at it this way. Its a "proven" fact that it dampens the nervous system. So in theory if a fighter like Diaz is able to still think and react quick enough, they would have an advantage. Think of a strike to that person being "dampened" by 10-20%? It could mean the difference from taking a shot to being knocked out. All pain and sensory is nerve.

Alpha World Peace - And yes, the human body literally can't consume 3 gallons of water without severe water intoxication.This. I doubt what he is claming Diaz did is physically possible. There are case reports of seemingly healthy people dying from cerebral edema after drinking less water. I recall a story about a female radio show contestant trying to win something by drinking the most water without using the restroom who died; can not find the articles right now though
