It's a little bit early, but on November 10th, there's going to be an OLD SCHOOL EIGHT MEN TOURNAMENT at the Casino Fight Night III in Erfurt. There are no time limits, no judges, you can only win by knockout, submission or TKO! Their first old school tournament was won by Poland's Piotr Hallmann. Yesterday they announced that Peter Sobotta is going to participate! If he wins this tournament, he's going to be 5-0-1 since being released from the UFC. |

Unfortunately not. As with all MMA events in Germany, they don't want to deal with webstreams. |

funkjoker - On Sunday, Germany's no. 1 heavyweight Andreas Kraniotakes beat Czech newcomer Lubos Rauser via RNC in R1 at the MMAA Arena debut event in Praha, Czech Republic to improve his record to 15-6. Peter Sobotta couldn't fight because of a lung infection. ... |

there were 2 other mma events in germany last weekend.
SAXONY FIGHTS on the 29th - http://www.sherdog.com/events/SF-Saxony-Fights-25235
Rock the Cage on the 29th - http://www.sherdog.com/events/RC-Rock-the-Cage-3-25277
I guessing these are smaller events. |

Kirik -
Pretty much the only MMA website you can take seriously, not only do they cover US MMA, European MMA and German MMA, they are also the only German martial arts website that does interviews in English and/or German language. They cover every European UFC event in great detail, sometimes even better than the big US websites. Plus they have the only European and German MMA Rankings on the internet - if someone says "Fighter X is ranked no. 6 in Europe" they are referring to their European Top Ten, even though most ring announcers and promoters don't mention the website... If you'd like to get in contact with the main people from them, I can provide you with the contact details. |

DamnSevern - No only small - smallest, though Rock the Cage is big in the German Baltic Sea region, because the people there don't have anything that entertains them, so they go to everything that sounds slightly fun. Rock the Cage had a 2-3 guy fighting a 0-3-1 guy in the main event, so you know it's a pretty low level event. |

caposa -funkjoker - Unfortunately not. As with all MMA events in Germany, they don't want to deal with webstreams. Thanks, you're welcome. Streams seem to be expensive and a lot of work. German promoters are very cheap and most (not all!) of them seem to like making their money without putting in a lot of effort. At least that's what I'm seeing. |

Undefeated German welterweight Michael Erdinc (6-0) is going to participate in a new international reality show called "Reto de Campeones MMA". Tonight he's going to face UFC veteran Brian Foster in the first round of their 16 men tournament. Tough matchup for Erdinc, who's going from fighting cans to fighting a UFC veteran, but I think he has better boxing than Foster. If you're interested in the official German MMA rankings, have a look: http://www.groundandpound.de/mma/rankings/ |

Michael Erdinc lost to Brian Foster by unanimous decision, but he gave him all he could handle so the promoters decided to give Erdinc another fight. That fight is going to happen tonight against Andre Tadeu, a luta livre blackbelt from Brazil. |

Superior FC, one of the bigger organizations in Germany, announced the last three inaugural title fights for their November 24th event in Mainz. Unfortunately David Zawada got injured so we won't see the battle between two of Germany's most promising welterweight talents. His opponent Jessin Ayari (8-2), Germany's no. 7 welterweight, is going to face Kerim Engizek (3-4) who lost to Zawada in the semi-finals, a fight many gave to Engizek. Azdren Thaqi (4-0-1), one of Switzerland's most highly touted prospects, is going to fight Rasim Lemberanskij (4-4) for the vacant featherweight title. Last but not least we have a light heavyweight battle between striker Stephan Puetz (3-0) and grappler Nils Wernersbach (3-1), no. 5 and no. 9 of the official German Top Ten. |

Remember last month when three Germans fought and won at European MMA in Denmark? Well, today the Germans went only 1-2 at that event. 19-year-old Arthur Grass (2-1) won his fight against Danish prospect Cazim Halimi with a beautiful head kick, Christian Eckerlin (7-3) lost by TKO against Danish veteran David Rosmon and Alexander Heinrich (4-5) got decisioned by tough Danish wrestler Ayub Tashkilot. |

Then you HAVE to attend Kombat Komplett 7 at the Event Arena in Baumholder on November 10th. 95% of the audience consists of US soldiers stationed in West/South West Germany, they always create an amazing atmosphere. The fight card mostly consists of US soldiers and fighters from Germany, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg. |
