I don't care much for Tony having a girlfriend, so I didn't care much for the plot points about them in IM2 and the Avengers. Otherwise, she's fine as the savvy assistant. Pepper in the short shorts was in The Avengers and it was awesome.

OK now here's a gif of Tony on the operating table. Notice how he has some acupuncture type needles sticking out of his body. I wonder if this could be Extremis or if he's getting implants or sensors put into his body for his new armor.

New picture of the Mandarin from Entertainment Weekly. The article states that Mandarin still has the rings as the source of his power but the alien backstory has been dropped. In addition you can kind of notice it looks like Mandarin has like a basketball jersey. I noticed this in the Comic-Con reel as well. It makes me think Mandarin has been modernized and will be a bit of a hip Osama Bin Laden.

SHH report says according to a press conference with Marvel marketing president Simon Phillips in Sao Paulo, the scene from the picture above is where Stark gets the Extremis virus injected into his body.

Can't read any of it because it gets way to blurry on the zoom, but the Kanji looks fake (really busy and square, almost like a QR code). Makes sense if we are dealing with the Mandarin.
