Faster processor 1.6 vs 1.4 GHz quad core

Bigger screen

and the list goes on... the Note 2 is equal or superior on every spec to the GS3.

the new Galaxy Camera is equal in specs to the gs3.

Imagine your Galaxy S3 with 21x optical zoom and I think something in the vicinity of 18mps (with other specs to actually make use of all those mps!!
I might be wrong but usually Samsung release an international version and a US version. The the US if I'm right is a dual core but 2gig usable ram the international is quad core but 1 gig. Apparently they clock the same anyhow when tested. And all US version's come with carrier software/splash as which international is just raw Samsung, (except Vodafone in some countries) ie. I its all about the $ wars!

Either way it's an awesome looking product... But I'm thinking about it B-) Phone Post

www.slashgear.com/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-announced-for-all-major-us-carriers-19248294/

All Note 2s launched in the US will have quad core processors.

My main problem with the note 2 is that it does not support simultaneous 3g data and voice on cdma carriers like Verizon and sprint. This is strange because the galaxy s 3 for both of those carriers does support simultaneous voice and data use. Phone Post

It will work when 4G LTE is available in your area. I am in Richmond, VA, and the closest area they've announced near me is D.C. and Norfolk.

I'm considering switching over this week.

I had an EVO4G from when it first came out, just this summer I switched to a iPhone 4 just to see how I liked it, now my sister is going to use my upgrade for an iPhone 4 so I am toying with the idea of dropping the $300 for it and basically giving my iPhone 4 (I paid $99 for it) away to her.

Haven't seen it in person or played with it, but should I just pony up the cash and go for it? I haven't had any issues with my iPhone 4 but I feel like if we are using the upgrade I should go all out with what I get. My issues with the EVO were mostly hardware based, not software issues, anyone know of any hardware problems with the Galaxy Note 2?

It's so new in north america most people haven't actually got to use it yet.
From what I've seen in European reviews it's basically everything the S3 is but bigger with a bigger processor.
And the S3 has had very little problems. Also with the note running jelly bean it is supposed to run more smoothly. I will hopefully get mine Tuesday. Phone Post

For those of you with one, does it eliminate the need for a tablet? My s2 is shitting out and in December I can get an upgrade. The s3 is my first choice but I have been looking at Tablets also. Im thinking the note 2 could possibly work well enough that I wont need a tablet. Thoughts?

I'm going to sell my iPad for two reasons. 1- I don't use it enough. 2- situations in which I would use it have been pretty much replaced by using the Note 2, and I will probably get the superdock so I will have no need for the iPad2 then. Phone Post

I'm thinking that for what I would be using the Note for I probably wouldn't need a tablet. Plus my s2 has been great, so bigger is better right?

Haven't heard of the superdock.

Anyone in Canada get this phone yet? It launched Tuesday but no where in town has got any stock yet. I have one preordered as well, future shop says they don't know when they will get them. Phone Post
