It used to be everyone would bust ass at camp to not look weak, now if you bust ass and can make fire you will be voted off cause you are too strong in the merge. It's a weird show and not like a real life scenerio at all. |

It's a weird show and not like a real life scenerio at all. I agree, it has morphed into a really odd creature. Somebody needs to come up a more "Robinson Crusoe" type of show. Where the contestants HAVE to perform well or are knocked out. Oh, I hope that Abi bitch gets bit by something and has to be airlifted out. |

yeah Rc is gone, im not sure what Kent is thinking..he just seems so dedicated to not letting any second-timers get a chance to win...he should have stuck with Penner and their alliance but now Penner is fucked.. |

you guys are right and ive said this after the past few seasons when weak people(coat-tail riders) have won...when strong/aggressive players like Russell get targeted and lose and we see weak, non-aggressive players win, it sets a very bad trend..you will see players holding back, not making big strategic moves etc etc..this is what has happened and it is hurting the show...there is no good reason for a strong player to come out firing in challenges and in the social game ..all it does is put a target on their back..this makes for some boring tv.. Mike has been a huge disappointment so far..i thought he was a better player than he is showing.. |

in Survivor, with the way the game is formatted now, how do you encourage strong players to give it everything they have, to make big moves etc etc?especially with the way the jury and final voting is handled..uggh, it just makes it that much harder for the aggressive/strong players.. |

It has become strange. People don’t vote by thinking ahead of the curve enough. I also think that some of the people really come on just for the heck of it without researching the show. You always have to be thinking, even when fatigue set’s in that’s why you have physical players and then some with a social game. That is rare when you get both. I am sure there is a part of it that we don’t see. The thing is I have heard Jeff Probst say that tribal councils can go on a couple hours but they edit a lot of that out. |

Malcolm is surely to get canned, he has been too strong in challenges. His only saving grace is that idol and the tough gal. I still think they will be smart to get him off while they can. I don't see how Penner is such a threat.

Malcolm has an idol and Lisa found it so he knows he has to keep her in the loop at least or make her think he is in alliance with her. Him and Denise are strong contenders. She’s in better shape than any of the women. |

Can someone give me a brief rundown of what happened? I was on a cruise and forgot to record it. I agree with what most people here are saying- the game's dynamic has killed the show and got it away from it's original intentions. Face it, the people that tend to win the show now are the last people that would ever make it off the island. |

Pretty much that you can fly under the radar on someone else’s coat tails and still win the game. It has happened at least 4 times now. This week JC got voted out and is the first member of the jury. |

Good episode and one of the best tribal counsels, not sure I would have revealed my idol if I was Abi. I was for sure they would try to blind side Malcolm. Penner was safe and that sent everyone scrambling. They did not have to vote Jeff off he's basically a good dude. Lisa is going to get her ass kicked out of the fuckin game. |
