raleigh Member Since: 11/13/08 Posts: 17834	I've been frozen twice now in the last week, a mod told me it was from vote downs. The number of votes I went down was about 10. Does this sound right to you guys? Is this the vote down policy? Thanks

If you get 10 up votes and 20 down votes in 24 hours your total will only be 10 votes less, but you'll still get froze. It's a shit system. You have ignored this user.

Correct, they do not cancel each other out. So if someone with +200 karma wakes up with a wild hair up their ass to be super-offensive, they don't need to be voted down 200 times plus an addition 20 to get frozen.

OP, It seems to me like you want to be frozen from vote downs, and are purposfully instigating it.

You are aware that people tend to vote down people who make threads complaining about being voted down. So what do you do? You make a thread complaing about the voting system, and people vote you down enough for you to be frozen.

Do you learn from this? Nope. You make this thread which is in the same vein.
