I rike it. Guess it will depend on how often they can find opponents but at least its a progressive expansion in more ways than one. Also brings stuff back to vs in some ways. Wonder if they are looking at Mega Megu as well. She's not as flashy as Honda but probably the female WMMA fighter to be on top the longest. |

Sara McMann needs a few more fights...but is currently 6-0, is also an Olympic medalist (wrestling) and may one day have what it takes to give Rhonda a great fight. She fights at 135 also.

I dont understand this move, Honda's skills are so far above all the rest of the woman in her weight class. Who is she going to fight? Cyborg can't/wont come down. Sarah Mcmann (which may be her only opponent with the skills to beat her) looked terrible against Shyna Baszler. Tate, Kauffman, Coenen will never get to be on Honda's level even if they "trane UFC" for the rest of there lives, they don't even have a puncher chance... I foresee Honda crushing cans in the near future; but hey, it will make money for Dana. Im not against women's MMA as long as it's exciting and the opponents are within skill level. |

TomLowe - now all she needs is for the UFC to sign her an opponent! |

They'll give her a couple of fights to introduce her to casual UFC fans then Dana makes the Cyborg fight happen. It's the biggest women's fight possible... There's no way it doesn't happen.

If Rousey continues to be as dominant as she is currently that is not a bad thing. The question of who is she going to fight is the same question that used to be said of Fedor, Anderson Silva, GSP, and others. That is not a bad problem to have and will bring in serious dollars. |

I personally don't think the Cyborg fight with Rhonda will even be close at this point. Rhonda's striking is improving every time we see her...and her striking only needs to be good enough to get her in a clinch. Once that happens, Cyborg will be taken down, and submitted. We've all seen Cyborg on the ground with Gina and with Marloes-- neither of them have anywhere near the devistating ground game that Rhonda has. Yes, the Cyborg fight is the biggest women's fight that can happen, but I think Rhonda breezes through her, and after that, there will be Sara McMann. |

ranier wolfcastle - Anyone see the Aguilar/Fujii fight? Fujii's 25-2 is not enough to get her in the top 5? Could be a good sign of the growth or questionable ranking. |

Anyone find it weird that Dana is holding his zipper while wearing the Ronda Rousey espn nude shirt? |

Morgz - Ronda was mounted by Charmaine Tweet, a kickboxer with ZERO ground experience. Against Marloes, Cyborg NEVER was down, but g'n'ping her from the top. The only time Cyborg was mounted was against Gina, and that was over 3 years ago, because she tried to suplex her twice and failed. Plus, there is NOTHING indicating that Ronda is close to Cyborg in terms of striking. And clinching against her might lead Ronda to being kneeled in the face. I assure you Ronda won't muscle her around as she's been doing with others. That's why this is a great fight. No one knows how it will go. |

Alright, another one of those fights you can just ignore the TV and go take a piss, have a smoke, or do whatever it is you like to do when a boring fight is on. |

Ronda is nowhere near Cyborg in terms of striking, however the clinch could go either way, depending on who initiates it. Interesting. |
