Only 2 or 3 shots didnt hit near the ear. Also its usually legal if ur punch hits their head while they are moving. It was close. But I don't think it was worth a DQ.

I really hate to see that happen. I'm a big Alessio fan, but I understand why the decision went like it did. I don't think it was intentional. Punches are flying, you're in the moment trying to get a finish a hurt fighter. Rematch needs to happen.

Definitely in favor of a rematch, those standing elbows were effective

9 or 10, COME ON! Some of you are blowing this way out of proportion. I ultimately agree it should have at least been a NC, but not as many landed to the back of the head as most are saying. Without seeing a slow mo GIF, I was counting 3, possibly 4 at the MOST. 9 or 10...... lol

If a single illegal shot causes the fighter to not be able to carry on, then it's a DQ. If there's 4-8 illegal shots then there's no argument. Now stop the threads!!

MOST. I thought there were 3 or maybe 4 that were clearly back of the head.
