dont be a sherdog fight finder analyst...watch their fights and tell me anderson, who gets his guard passed and mounted like a hot knife through butter, has better guard than carlos..ask any black belt and i would bet 9/10 agree carlos has a better guard

How many fights has Anderson lost off his back in the UFC? How much damage has he taken, how many times has he been threatened with subs? He has had blackbelt Marquardt on top of him; blackbelt Leites; blackbelt Lutter; Dan Henderson; Chael Sonnen.

Leites, Lutter, and Sonnen, he hurt with strikes from his back, and submitted two of them; Nate and Hendo did exactly jack shit. He needed no help from the ref getting back up on some of those occasions.

The one time anyone has really made a move to do shit to Anderson from the top -- blackbelt Lutter going for an armbar -- he was swept instantly.

Anderson used to just hold guys in the body triangle; why do you suppose he doesn't anymore? I think he is waiting for them to go for something so he can escape back to his feet.
