Right now everyone on this forum is saying Hendricks and Silva will destroy GSP... I personally don't think so, but it seems to be the popular opinion. Who do you think poses the biggest threat and why?

Silva no doubt. Silva is on another level technically - Even more so than GSP (and GSP is on another level than Hendricks). Silva was also born with some sort of Bruce Lee shit - the kind of shit you cannot develop. A person who's born talented and works hard will always be a bigger threat over just a "hard worker". Sure, Hendricks is an elite wrestler, but he's lacking years of MMA experiece and is just not as developed as AS or GSP. |

Silva for sure. He has a large size advantage over GSP. Silva's striking is on another level. GSP's wrestling is far superior and their BJJ is similar. Given equal size, GSP by UD. Koscheck did well against Hendricks, GSP annihilated Koscheck twice. |

Kampmann may have been the more technical striker, but the guy gets hit alot by guys considered the lesser striker. Was not surprised he got KO'd at all. That being said, of course Silva would be much more of a threat. I still think GSP would do well with the takedowns. He could take Rashad evans down pretty consistently during training, but of course that's practice. We talking about practice? |

Silva and it's not even close. I think from a pure skillset perspective GSP and Silva are close but the size difference added to the mix would make a fight with Silva too difficult for GSP to overcome. Hendricks on the other hand, he'd have a puncher's chance against GSP. That said, GSP is as smart a fighter as there is and a one dimenionsal striker like Hendricks would be easy for GSP to game plan for. As for his wrestling pedigree, GSP has out wrestled everyone he has ever fought including guys with close to or equally impressive wrestling back grounds. I think as long as GSP avoided the one big clean shot he could take Hendricks down and sub him. |

The answer is Hendicks. He threatens to tear down everything GSP has built. Silva doesn't unless silva makes 170. What threat is a guy that is already considered the greatest fighter in UFC history...at a higher weight class? What do you really stand to lose? Hendricks, by all counts, has nothing for GSP except that left. Hendricks is on a tear and at the top of his game. He could potentially fuck up gsps world. Now, Silva drops to 170 for the challenge.... |

If it is at 170 then Hendricks. If he has to fight Silva at anything above 178 than Silva has a really big advantage in size. Hendricks one punch power is just fuckin nuts. |

Anderson but Hendricks is a close second. Johnny can wrestle and knock anyone out. at least GSP can hold anderson down everytime he can get him there. |

cycklops - The answer is Hendicks. He threatens to tear down everything GSP has built. Silva doesn't unless silva makes 170. yep, GSp needs to take the Silva fight if /when he loses to Silva at least he then can fight Hendricks and the drop the belt. that's two big money fights, if he fights Hendricks first the Silva fight evaporates with his strap. |
