lol @ Caio Terra being Cesar's "student". He'd fold the fake Gracie into a pretzel.

ManWithTheIronFists - Ceasar "fake Gracie"
At least Cesar is from the Gracie family. What about Roger "Gracie" Gomes then?

Loyalty is huge to the Cesar Gracie fight team and take that really serious. How do you think Terra got his Visa? I would be pissed too. Phone Post

Make money and potentially take money outta a teammates pocket nah it not cool... Phone Post

HE DIDN'T TRAIN CONDIT AGAINST A CAESAR FIGHTER! NO CAESAR FIGHTER WAS INVOLVED HERE!

This...apparently the guy is supposed to try and make a living by training a team with 1 fighter that is suspended for the year, Melendez who is going to have fought 4 times in the past 3 years, Shields who has won 1 of last 4 fights and is currently suspended for roids, and then of course you have Nate who is actually doing something positive.

I guess Cesar wants Terra to be complaining on youtube too about how he has to drive a shitty Honda Accord because he doesn't have any money.  But hey, at least he'd be loyal.  Broke, but loyal.  He'd be much more successful moving to a team like Jacksons.  Tons of high level fighters who actually, you know, fight consistently.

ceasar has only one fighter?

wow, i mean, they have more than 1 fighter in the ufc, not even including smaller orgs.

i guess there is a not a regular class to teach either.

but this one off job helping condit i guess set caio for life

anyway, caio has his own gym now so i am sure he will just be fine. just like ceasar will be fine to not have guys like caio working with his team.

i guess it would be cool if richard perez started training GSP? i mean, nick and gsp do not have a fight scheduled

Are you serious dude?  Do you just read 1/4 of the first sentence of 2 paragraphs and begin quoting?

No Caesar fighter has been involved anywhere for a long long time bro.  Shakespeare wrote about it I think.

Johnny Ringo -  I support Cesar 100% on this. Loyalty is lost on most MMA "teams" now. But Loyalty is everything at Cesar's.

It's one thing in you train at Extreme Couture or some super gym like that and you leave or do something like this bc there are scores of coaches and guy fighting from there who most likely don't even train with everyone or even get coached by each coach. It's more of a business relationship and that's that.

At Cesar's they are a right knit group an they bleed for each other day in and day out. Cesar gives everything he has to his fighters and they in turn hive that to their teammates and only expect loyalty and respect.

It's the old way and IMHO and it's the right way, especially for a smaller gym who has, by the true definition of the word, a TEAM.

Anyone who goes into that camp and expects to not be held accountable and loyal is either and idiot or has a huge ego and thinks the rules won't apply to them. Phone Post

Great fucking post.  VTFU

It's kind of funny that almost everyone negative toward Cesar on here can't spell his fuckng name.  You can say you were just trolling, but we all know you're really just stupid.

I'm sure Caio can give two fucks. He's a grown man(something Cesar could learn from) with his own shit. He isn't bound by some fake loyalty crap. Besides he's started up his own association...so this is probably a blessing.

People extend their hand to someone...and think they're entitled to more. Kind of a selfish way of "helping" others.

I've always placed loyalty above all. And i must say, i like to see such strong loyalty with Cesar's team. I've always admired it. Especially in this day and age with mma.."there seems to be no frikin loyalty anymore" Growing up in the traditional martial arts as a young child, you wouldn't even have thought about even going to another Academy to practice. (not too mention, training a fighter where the potential is there for him to fight his own team-mate. For what? Money? Well, sorry, you can't place a price-tag on strong friendships. (especially, when they are very hard to find! This is why i've always loved Cesar Gracie Juijitsu's camp. Cesar has it right and seems to run a tight ship. I love that. Personally for me, this is how i feel. To each his own though. $$ isn't everything!

Cesar appears to want loyalty from his students but apparently has no problem turning on people.  Have you seen Dan Black post on these threads?  Said he was with Cesar for 14 years and was kicked out for no reason and basically that loyalty is a joke when it comes to Cesar.  I imagine he'd know more than us.

David, ya i know. it's sucks. Loyalty is something which should be held above all when it comes to running an Academy and developing a team. Without Loyalty, you have basic a bunch of shallow minded people running around kicking and punching. I speak from experience...i see guys where all they are concerned about is me me me, and fuck everyone else. The word "TEAM" should have a very strong meaning to it! Because when all the smoke clears and all the fighting is over (because you can't fight forever), then what do you have if you haven't been Loyal to your team and friends? One will find themselves Alone in this unforgiving world of fighting.

I don't know Cesar personally. I just watch and observe just like all of you. And it's always seemed to me Cesar and his team are very very tight and Loyalty is placed in high regard. As far as this guy Caio...I'm sure he's a great guy, or Cesar wouldn't have invited him to teach for his team in the first place. right? So, i am just giving my opinion on Loyalty. I am not bashing Caio. This would not be fair of me, since i do not know the man. Caio probably knew this would upset Cesar. So, perhaps he was planning on leaving anyway. who knows.

Well it sounds like most want to take Cesar's word for it that Terra is disloyal, despite not hearing both sides of the story.  So people should take a twitter and facebook message as gospel but not a post on the internet?
