If GSP was to have a tune up fight at the weight class before fighting Silva. How would you see this one going? Bisping is a huge middleweight but I'd fancy GSP comfortably

I'd take bisping in that fight.

Bisping would be way too big for GSP. |

GSP takes this relatively easily. Beside Silva, nobody else is a true threat to GSP at MW. Similarly, besides Jones, nobody else is a true threat to Silva at LHW. |

Entreri - GSP takes this relatively easily.
How exactly is he going to beat him? Bisping has one of the best take down defenses there is, and hes great at getting back up when hes been taken down. Hes been in the cage with top wrestlers at light heavy and they couldn't keep him down. Do you really think gsp could? + Plus there are plenty of people at LHW that post a threat to Silva. |

BrocksSwockRanTrane_onShane -George would probably tune him up on the feet and use his striking very effectively to get the takedowns.Entreri - GSP takes this relatively easily.

"How exactly is he going to beat him? " Fear alone would work. Bisping has lost every single time he's faced a top ranked opponent. You think that's going to change in a fight against GSP? Of all people?! |

Stann? Really? That's your trump card? Pray tell... who did Stann beat to get ranked? Sakara? Or was it his loss to Chael just prior to that fight that catapulted him into the rankings?

Hadoukenkieran -BrocksSwockRanTrane_onShane -Agreed he is a big middleweight Bisping is bigger, sure, but how does he utilize his size to win? Bully GSP against the cage? Standings KO? I think GSP is a solid favourite in this fight |

Well hell if we're making fantasy fights here, GSP vs Jon Jones the winner fights Anderson Silva?

UGSlapshot - Well hell if we're making fantasy fights here, GSP vs Jon Jones the winner fights Anderson Silva? There is a distinct possibility of GSP fighting Silva, and I doubt it's going to be at 170. So GSP is going to have to move up the weight class. And whose to say he won't want a fight first at the weight class to see how he handles the extra weight. So it's not ludicrous to say it couldn't be a contender like Bisping

Honestly, I would take Bisping. GSP doesn't belong at 185.

What the do you guys mean Bisping is too big? Is he going to punch too hard? Overpower GSP in the wrestling? I don't see it. They used to say he would work Rashad at practice. I don't see how GSP loses this fight. Bisping doesn't hit hard enough or have enough of an advantage in the cardio to even have a punchers chance.

tdunning -Do you guys think GSP can only win with a considerable strength advantage? Lol. GSP doesn't get near enough credit for how good he is any more.Hadoukenkieran -BrocksSwockRanTrane_onShane -Agreed he is a big middleweight

I don't think he would beat Anderson. That's one reason I'd rather have Silva vs Jones and GSP vs Diaz.
