First the UFC quietly moved the TUF Finale from its traditional home at the Palms Casino Resort to Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Then rumors arose that it happened because the Palms had halved White's credit limit. This was followed by a piece in the Las Vegas Review Journal that touched on White hyper generous spending and tipping habits.
This lead to head scratching about why a casino would cut the credit limit on a big spender? UGer CindyO asked White what was behind the story, and it turns out the credit limit was imposed not for losing too much, but for winning too big.
Now comes word from White himself, via MMAJunkie.com. "I had a little beef with the Palms, and I ripped the UFC out of there," said White with a chuckle. |

Real professional from Dana White. Mixing the UFC's business with how he is treated on the Casino floor is not only pathetic but unethical as the President of The UFC. Can you imagine Bud Selig or Roger Goodall doing this? EmbarASSing |

Dana takes everything so personally, imagine if the fighters took things as personally as Dana does, there would be none left. |

Considering he was giving them a ton of business and they were willing to treat him that way, I'm glad he took his business elsewhere.

Im sorry but the Palms should be kissing his ass. Just because he wins a few times and cashes out doesnt mean he hasnt treated them well with the UFC events and from the sounds of it he treats the staff in amazing fashion! Hes the kind of guy you want in your place. |

Wonder how much they typically made during a fight weekend. I would assume no more fights cos ted them more money then Dana betting big. Hope it was worth it |

They're crazy.
The odds state pretty clearly that hot streaks end and if they waited him out they'd have kept his business and gotten all their money back with change.
It was their decision to make, so whatever.

Idiots. Got what they deserve. Whales always win big and eventually lose big, and keep playing no matter which side they are on at a given moment. Combine that with his generosity and the business connection, they were down right retarded to do this to him.

If im an investor like (abu dhabi/flash entertainment) id be pissed off. or any potential investor would be highly cautious doing business with this douche bag. decisions should be made based on what benefits the UFC/Zuffa not dana white. |

Can you imagine Bud Selig or Roger Goodall doing this? EmbarASSing well seeing as MLB/NFL dont use casino's as venues, no i dont see them doing this, however i do see them passing on a city/stadium for expansion if they are treated like shit. Casino's have no problem with you loosing all your money to them, but throw a fit when you win, that is unethical. i know people thinks its cool to bash everything Dana does, but i see nothing wrong with this move, if Dana isnt treated good, they why would he expect UFC fans to be treated good by the Palms. The Palms dont give a shit about being ethical, they wont stop the father of a family gambling his food money away, but will stop someone from winning money legit and fair. |

nick diaz nut hugger - No casino is going to talk about clients. I am comfortable relating Cindy's account. The UG Blog is a blog, not the New York Times. As such, the source was identified, and, as I said, is correct. The way you can tell the UG Blog is a blog is not subtle. If it was the New York Times it would be called the UG New York Times - "All the news that fits in a fist or something" :-) |
