I've got some gay friends who love watching MMA. They are quite open in stating that they watch it for the buff dudes and the aggressive man on man action. MMA is surprisingly popular in the gay community, in a way in which the likes of boxing isn't. |

Im a straight guy who watches UFC. I was apalled when I went to the bathroom in Philadelphia , it was like a Greek bathhouse in their. In NJ I attended the UFC Event and , same thing, 2 guys blowing each other in the bathroom. i find it weird and i understand what the guy is talking about |

Anybody who has this much of a problem with gays or sports that are "homoerotic" are probably gay themselves and they feel self hatred or see something wrong with it. If you like to suck dick and eat man ass but you're a cool productive person in society then who cares? I teach my three children to hate assholes and guess what, anybody can be an asshole. Gay straight white black asian young old etc etc etc. Its weird when people try to shield their kids from specific things. It tells a lot about that person and their perception of life and reality.

stupid, but typical. this is less about him feeling that mma is homoerotic (thats just the red herring) and more about another sports personality who is out of the loop in mma, doesnt want to learn about it, and then feels defensive about their lack of knowledge when people talk about it. Its been the same thing with every other sportscaster since mma became main stream. |
