also masons call the masses profane.. so yes they do seem to believe they are part of some higher class.

Most esoteric societies use this term, it refers to the uninitiated.

yeah I know about that.. but I also feel it implies they are better.. and of course they have to feel better because they have shouldered the responsibility of "building society"

they consider themselves the "elect" or the chosen.

btw I voted you up.

It seems you are kind of into the esoteric to see what they are about and get more info.. but it also seems like you admire them.

Could you please expand on this? thanks professor.

this is not meant to be confrontational btw.

Nah, Masons are much more easy to join these days.  You just have to apply and go through an interview

Ya, maybe.  The Masons used to be much more difficult to join, but in the past decade or two, it's really changed.

yeah. I'm not really anti-masonic.

I think they are quite deep and intelligent and I respect their right to believe what they want or even to have some secret rituals.

I just do not think that people in public office should have sworn oaths from a secret institution.

I do not think that Masonry should accept catholics who are in a state of grave sin when they join a lodge. how can they purposefully admit catholics knowing that they are violating their faith?

also I do believe masons play on this mystique that people have on them. it increases their profile.

people like what they can't lick and are curious about "secrets"

masonry also claims to give you the power. It is up to you , the individual to find the secret!

it's very empowering that's why so many people are enthralled by it.

also the milner group one of the most powerful secret societies ever..

used no rituals, used no oaths and was roughly a rough network of friends and acquaintances with a circles within circles type organization.

No secret handshakes nothing.

this is quite interesting.

EVILYOSHIDA - the illuminati were a short lived group but left their mark on freemasonry and all the other secret societies.

they acted as a type of enlightenment or atheistic agent on freemasonry

good thread redneck

If it wasn't required to believe in a god I would totally try and become a freemason. My ex's mom is a job's daughter, her dad and grandfather were masons, and she was approached to be a job's daughter.

So what secret society should I be in if I am an atheist?

The actual belief is a "higher power".  It doesn't have to be god.  You can believe in luck, or the Force, or chi, and still answer it truthfully.

You ask them and must be approved by 2 members.. although I do think they are recruiting now in some places due to dwindling numbers are lackluster attendance.

I think at this point most people can join. If you're black you can join prince hall.

Also if you think you can get some special power or be part of some ruling elite, you should go elsewhere.

masons are no longer the ruling power and nowhere near the force they used to be. good for business connections and some friends I guess.

the new active masons are the single issue NGO's, think tanks, globalists etc.

Masons are still a strong symbol of revolution and there are many masons who are very powerful.. but overall I think their influence has waned.
Just curious because I know of a lodge near me and all of this is interesting as fuck to me.. Phone Post

Red we talked about how the OTO is not the boogey man many seem to think it is.
There are long standing rumors about a cabal of OTO accolytes within the NSA and US military special warfare circles. I think largely due to Michael Aquino being public about his OTO past and his public role as leader of the Temple of Set.
Has any come across any credible information about this subject.
