UGCTT_Blake - I'm a HUGE Diaz fan, but anyone with a brain knows that Hendrix deserves that fight. He lost to Condit, no matter what we saw, its a loss on paper. He has to beat someone in the top five.Don't bring your logic to this thread.

vincan469 - it is never about who is more deserving or not. it is always about the dollards. Diaz-Penn headline card - 280K buys Diaz-Condit headline card - 400K buys Diaz sells shit |

Joe_Drogan420 - I would like to see this fight.Me too, I'm just tired of all the undeserved title shots in the UFC. Nick should get a minimum of 1 top 5 win before getting a title shot.

shorebreaker420 -Pat Giles -Speak for yourself faggot, easy solution for Ya .. stop clicking on the thread, I'm voting your lil bitch lips up because u don't belong in the red rubie gang... Worry more about who your chic is flirting with at work rite now while your broke ass sits staleInTheWeedz -Everyone else wants you to though. Can we get you to stop posting videos at least? I'm sure each one gets 7 or 8 views based on pity, but other than that it's awful.CrazyPope - Go away I wanted to, "in," this thread just because of how awesome OP's SN looked next to the title... Even better that the first guy to defend him has your display picture :P If I wasn't a cheap mud-namer you'd both be getting VTFU And I completely understand ppl being pissed at the idea of Diaz getting the next title shot since he's coming off a loss, and Hendricks has just managed to face-melt the entire, incredibly stacked WW division save for Condit or Diaz... But dude this fight would be so fucking awesome, and I think ppl can no longer say it's unfair to make exciting fights, "all the fans want," after all the Sonnen-Jones defending BLAF's been doing. |

I mean just stylistically, -- Georges is a super technical boxer/kickboxer who uses fundamentals and range to keep opponents off balance to set up TDs. -- In top control he has some of the best positional BJJ and transitions in the game to set up his GnP -- And once Opponents are soft and gooey, he lights them up on the feet with his hard rights Conversley, -- Diaz is a swarmer who uses wide digging body hooks, tries to cut off his opponents and wades through punches like a jab was a high-five -- On the ground he has a hyper aggressive guard and doesn't mind throwing risky sub-attempts even if his opponent is transitioning to put him in bad spots -- And even when he's soft and gooey, if that can even happen to the Stockton-best with his demon chin, he just doesn't give half a fuck if he gets taken down Hell, they even contrast so awesomely in personality, and that's not just hype. George is super open about his nervousness, loves cameras and is a great, respectful and polite spokesperson. Diaz acts tough as shit and like he hates his opponents even though he's surprisingly nice and uncomfortable trash-talking. And he's the antithesis in appearance and behavior -- god knows I'll never forget the after-fight brawls or hillarious weed interviews he's had. /rant, but I've got to much of a Seinfieldian man-crush on both these fighters not to get excited about this. Even better that I love and admire them both for such contrasting reasons |

And Diaz will "upset"vincan469 - it is never about who is more deserving or not. it is always about the dollards. Diaz isn't enough of a draw that I think it'll be a driving force in allowing him to jump the line tho :/ And I only say this because if the fight were to realistically happen, BLAF'd need a real good reason to look past the suspension, better argument rankings-wise for Hendricks, and the general difficulty in dealing with Diaz during the first attempt to set this fight up. Diaz's fight with George will sell, but only because the UFC is great at marketing and this fight was tailor made to be marketed. For all the reasons I've already obnoxiously droned on about, the fight camp rivalry, and the hillarious shenanigans that'll likely happen in the lead-up trashtalking / weigh-ins, I think this has real potential. |

But with casual fans who only know the UFC tangentially, Diaz is about as famous as Fitch, Kos or other respected fighters who've made a name for themselves in WW, but not truly broken through. He'll get recognized, but won't draw in casuals/non-fans by his name alone, and that makes me a Sad Panda cus I don't think it'll cut it in terms of swaying BLAF. Certainly got more star power than Condit or Hendricks, but again, don't think it's enough |

GSP vs. Nick Diaz isn't enough star power? The only bigger fight than that is GSP vs. Silva or Jones vs. Silva. |

I hate Diaz, so naturally I'd rather see Gsp dismantle him first.

rockyrocks90 - i will never ever understand the unconditional love for Nick diaz as many people have to the point where its logic defying. Diaz deserves a shot at 170 after a fight he lost and got suspended for LOLWUT?I know right. This whole thread is a face palm. Forget all the guys behaving themselves and winning fights, nick Diaz deserves the shot cuz he stands and bangs. Diaz doesn't deserve the shot fanboys. It is pure disrespect to guys like Hendricks to even discuss this. Nick had his chance at GSP and no showed important press opportunities. The same press that hypes the fight that could have potentially made Diaz rich. He then loses to condit and gets suspended for weed. If Gsp ever gives this guy a shot now I would be surprised. If it was to happen GSP is likely to tackle and slam his ass all night anyway.
