Two of the most underrated and highly skilled fighters in all of MMA. On a p4p level I am saying to boot. Mendes has only lost to the greatest 145 er ever. A nearly unbeatable wrestler boxer who keeps upping his game. Then you got Hacran Dias. He ironically trains with Aldo. He entered his ufc debut fight on a outstanding win streak. Then he took on Yuri Alcantara a guy who had Fedor like win streak and he won that fight. Hacran Dias has Aldo esque td defense and Aldo esque versatility. He may not be as beastly a striker but he can strike and his transition from striking to grappling and transition from move to move might be smoother than Aldo. These guys are the real deal Recognize Truth

SpiritualElixir - Kind of clear cuHacran Dias beat an Alpha Male guy in August last year too. Nova Uniao is stacked with the little guys (Marlon Sandro, Diego Nunes, Renan Barao, Johnny Eduardo, Eduardo Dantas, Jussier Formiga). Alpha Male vs Nova Uniao is the only real rivalry that I think exists between different gyms, even though I'm not aware of Alpha Male ever beating one of their guys. We'll see if Mendes can do it

This is a mega fight. I am not talking about name recognition and google hits, the tmz mma types can look at that. I am talking in real fighting ability. These fucking badasses have like a combined 40 plus fights and the only losses they have combined is a dec loss Hacran had at the early part of his career to a guy who he likely beats now. And the loss to Aldo. And more loud than that is their all around skill. In skill I would rate both these guys top 35 p4p. To the real MMA fan who is about the fights. This is a obvious mega fight. Its not a mega fight but its a dam good one. Its crazy that this doesnt even appear to be on the main card. I hope they go 5 main card fights and this gets a spot because it deserves it. |
