At 3:40 dude gets dropped by an uppercut, looked like the fight should have been stopped. I'm biased being the other guys team mate and friend so I wanted some unbiased eyes to check it out. Also anybody think it was stopped early? http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=3WlMAi6Ucg4&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D3WlMAi6Ucg4

I don't think there was any reason to stop it based on that video... |

So he didn't look out to you in that second round to you? Do you think the end was justified?

Ref was in a better position to see at the finish, but it does seem strange that he didn't step in when the first kid got dropped, but did step in when the second kid, although rattled, was still on his feet. Was that amateur? Modified rules? |

Yeah its amateur, and thanks for the feedback. I thought it was pretty questionable, that was Alex's first fight so it was frustrating to see him get ribbed like that..

Maybe but he looked out to me. Tough dude to get up from that shot though. It was a damn good fight.

Early stoppage. I mean he was rocked, but in no way was he completely out.

I just thought it was strange that the ref let the fight go when that guy dropped but stopped it before Alex received any damage.

The Overseer - Early stoppage. I mean he was rocked, but in no way was he completely out. You really dont wanna young amateurs fighters going completely out. |

Not an early stoppage in my opinion. He was done and it was pretty obvious. Its not like he even disputed it after it was stopped. He just stumbled over to his corner bumping into the cage. |

Neither of them were intelligently defending themselves. Baldy was more of a jock so he was busier. |

The overseer, I agree, I may have been upset at the outcome but I'm thankful my friend and teammate was able to walk away completely uninjured, just really exhausted lol

That was a suspect stoppage. That said, I didn't think it should have been stopped after the knockdown in the first round. The guy who got dropped seems to have kept his wits about him. |
