That's a very common thing in football son. Most of my fingers look like skinny-post routes from the dislocations/breaks I've have during football. It's a quick pull, relocate, tape like a mother fucker and step back in next play. At least that's how we did it.

kin9ofdaburbs -I finished the game and played in the next weeks. I thought it was a bad jam, so my coach tried to "fix" it. Finally went to the doctor and it was pretty much shattered lol. You could see the original crack and then more stemming off from it where my coach tried to help lol. After season got examined and Doc says "you ripped all the ligimaents and shattered two bones" After 7,000 dollar surgery and ten week recovery, I have a non functional gimp finger. This Finger doesn't do shit, won't bend or straighten. Someday I will amputate this poor little finger. |

Most of my childhood I had a finger either taped to a Popsicle stick or to an adjacent finger. It's funny looking at old photos. I was always injured - but rarely went to the hospital. Kids today are pussies. If you want to see some jacked up hands, take a look at Anthony Munoz's digits. All fucked up. Shook his hand once and it was weird as hell. He's a giant so I didn't say anything. Haha.
