Bjj is an equal level but the level of striking on the ground has greatly improved. |

John Lewis got his black belt really quickly from Andre P., but was a black belt under Judo Gene Lebelle beforehand. He ground game was always underrated, I thought. IMO . . . he had solid fundamentals and positioning, which a lot of younger jack-of-all-trade fighters don't have today. Last I heard, Lewis is still in Vegas, promoting nightclub events. Is that true? |
