Shogun, Henderson, Sakuraba,Big Nog, Vitor Belfort, Matt Hughes, or ANY MMA Legend/Champion/contender/Gatekeeper/fighter except for
BJ Penn, can say they have NEVER been dropped in an mma fight, not one time.
How fucking crazy of a statistic is that!?!?!!?! Someone who has literally fought in 4 weight classes, 3 of them HIGHER than his fighting weight, has Never been dropped. Roy Nelson, Dan Henderson, Mark Hunt, Fedor. As tough as those guys are, they were all dropped at least once.
That is quite possibly one of the most impressive statistics in fighting to date. More impressive than Wanderlei never being submitted.
I know many of us already know he's never been dropped, but just take some time to reflect on how many fights you've seen, how many fights of BJ's you have seen.

^^None of those guys could drop BJ, just one time, between all of them.
(Been a long time since I've seen the first Jens fight. Jens didn't drop him did he? I vaguely remember Jens being on top, but I thought that was from a takedown. Too lazy to find and rewatch.) |

Edgar showed how legit he is. Out pointed him. First fight probably should've been a draw, 2nd fight he did enough to show he was the better fighter that night. |

What exactly do you mean by dropped? Because although Silva was rocked bad in the first round against Chael in the first round he didn't get knocked down, and Chael even said in the fifth Silva slipped. What fight did Fedor get knocked down in?

Machida is so fucking smooth; i love watching him fight. He makes karate look so fucking cool... This is quite possibly the best BJ fight on his resume, seeing that he held his own with a light heavyweight killer. BJ will never get enough credit for how well he did in this fight. He should get 4 wins added onto his win/loss record for this one... |

For anyone debating if Anderson OR fedor really got dropped- your a fucking moron, fedor got flat out ko'd bisping style and Anderson got dropped 3 times by Chael for Christ sake
