Retarded. Nick doesn't have a win in the UFC in years. Hendricks just plowed through the toughest guys in the division not named GSP or Condit.

I want the Diaz fight eventually but the dude has to be able to get a win in the UFC to justify it.

It's NOT a no-brainer by any means. Giving Diaz an immediate title shot makes the organization a complete sham.

DOesnt have a win in years?

You mean he doesnt have a top10 win...

gooddoc - Why not? we give title shots do guys that squeak out a close decision, by running away after he promises a dogfight.
Squeaking out a close decision is still winning. And he was on a long win-streak at the time.

Was the decision debatable? Sure. But it's the decision that was made nonetheless Phone Post

When it comes to a close decision, who am I going to listen to; the multitude of seasoned vets and analysts who believe Diaz won, or the judges who have a great track record (yeah right) and Diaz haters like you.
At what point did anything I said come across like a Diaz hater? For the record I had Nick winning 49-48

It was a close fight, plenty of people think each fighter won the fight. Those arguing for Diaz are just louder, rather than having the massive majority they seem to think they do Phone Post

You had two 10-10 rounds?

48-47 sorry, my brain shat itself somewhere between the two 'win by one round' scores 29-28 and 48-47 apparently Phone Post

^^ oh ok gotcha. I was interested in hearing which rounds cause it was so damn close that score wouldn't be that stupid but they never do 10-10s. Is that even allowed in the unified rules? I can't remember...
