BrentP - There is no best gun. Every player has their own opinion because they're all pretty balanced. Just preferences.This. I can't think of one gun that just stands out, which is awesome. Finally they brought some balance back to the game.

doggitb - fal full auto target locator scope....no can defend This plus the grip is a force. Use it with Toughness perk and you can out gun an SMG at a decently close range. |

I love R870 because I'm a big time shotgun user have had them diamond since November 24 I have 150k+ shotgun kills since cod 4

For LMGs, I love the HAMR because of the initial high rate of fire and quick changing clips.

After giving every gun in the game a fair chance I've got mine. M8a1 with a target finder, grip, and fmj for bigger maps and a PDW57 with a silencer, laser, and grip for the smaller. No can defend.
