The writing in this game blows all of the others away... you really start to go back-and-forth as to who's right, templars or assassins... If you read all of the notes, Desmond's father tells him that in modern times they started to join up with the templars for much the same reason. Also, the final assassination sequence is bad ass! Also if you want true closure, go visit the two epilogue missions after the credits. SPOILER ALERT!!!! The 2nd epilogue is where Connor realizes he pretty much enabled the atrocities his race would face for a long time to come.

masenkablast - The writing in this game blows all of the others away... you really start to go back-and-forth as to who's right, templars or assassins...I turned off once the credits rolled, I'll have to check it out. How do I go back and play those?

I'm on an AC marathon right now. Just finished AC brotherhood and starting on revelations now. Brotherhood was really awesome. I'd played ac2 for a few hours but just couldn't get into it and traded it early. However, I gave brotherhood a chance and really enjoyed it. My aim is to be playing ac3 on Xmas eve when wife is away back to ireland. Might just make it....

This game failed to deliver miserably in my opinion. You cannot repair and rebuild blacksmiths, artisan, tailor, etc shops to better stuff and equipment. Instead u run around trying to grab pieces of Franklin's almanac. U return them to him and he gives u history lessons. However more stuff is available for purchase at his shop. What a waste...u would think ubisoft would have used one of America's most famous inventor's to come up with some cool and unique gear. The chase scenes are annoying. The ending was weak and made very little sense. AC2 and Brotherhood was the peak i'm afraid. This is a gamefly game. Rent it

I'm enjoying it so far. The twist at the start was great. It's nowhere near perfect but is definitely good fun
